Sapporo Washington Hotel Plaza

The room was very clean, nice and organized. The bed was comfortable.

Location and very updated room. Had a larger than usual bathroom for Japan. Just 1.5 blocks from Sapporo Station. Excellent value.

Had to wait for the official check in time of 3pm before they let you check in even when the room was already cleaned and ready to go.

Perfect for one night stay. Close to station, easy check in, spotless, and a pitch black room

You can hear the trains, but it didn’t bother us because we had an early morning anyway

The room is on the bigger side by Japanese standards and comfortable. The big table and bench were great when I had to attend some meetings via Zoom during my stay. The location is perfect, there are entrances to the underground system within twenty meters, and the JR gate is conveniently close too.

The breakfast consisted of a combination buffet of Japanese and Western breakfast items that was more than adequate. As we had travelled by train, the location was great and very close to Sapporo Station. But the best thing about this hotel, was the staff who did their best to make you welcome and made sure your stay was a great one. In one instance, a staff member worked for over 40 minutes with me to get my boarding passes printed.

Free printing of boarding passes. The hotel charges 10 yen for each pass printed. Sure it's not much, but you asked what I didn't like.

Convenience, very close to train station, in fact , too close and you can see and hear the train. Close to attractions and eateries.If the 2 floor could open to customers who do not have breakfast will be better. Coffee and tea available only after 3 pm does not too helpful.

Generally it is a not bad hotel. A great location if you are taking JR.

Room is small, can’t open both adult suitcases in the room. Next time shall ask and pay for bigger room. Bed is a bit too small for me.

Very good

There is water in the bathtub even though it has not been used. To get warm water, you have to turn on the water at high speed.

The room was very nice, clean and big, compared to the Japan standard. Location is great, 1 minute far from the Sapporo JR station.

Checkin was only after 3pm with no possibility for early checking (they offered to leave the baggage there until checking time)

It is near the Sapporo station (Hokkaido Uni exit) and next to 7 Eleven and across Lawson. Very clean and staff are helpful. Allows overnight luggage storage.

Lifts are a bit slow

The hotel location is great and near to Sapporo station. It's surrounded by konbini like 7-11 and Lawson. They have a lounge for you to use and the service was good and friendly. Generally the place is very nice and clean.

The room was too small for my liking and the shower and sink tap was pretty awkward as it shares the same knob.

1 min walk from JR Sapporo exit. Daimaru, Stellar Place and T38 Observatory are part of the JR Tower sitting on JR Sapporo station. Breakfast buffet was good but 1980 yen per pax.

There are 3 coin laundry machines but it comes with a number lock. If the laundry is done but the person is not there, the next person can't use it.

Close to train station, shopping precincts the excellent public transport system gave ease of access to tourist destinations and eateries!

Relatively small room and only 2 lifts.

Near Sapporo station and rental car shop

One of the staff was not so helpful when I seek help for the transportation to Nijo market, he told me to make the call by myself, I was taken aback.

Parking is not that convenient, room is a bit small.

Near to train tracks, can be a sleep disturbance. Toilet has poor ventilation, hence there's always a smell.

Only been there for a short period. It seemed like a good average business hotel.

Design of the room seems to have some faults for me. Didn't like that the tap for shower and sink are the same. So you have to change the temperature many times. I bumped into the mirror edge and the clothes hangers in the room.

Great location. Very near JR Sapporo station. 7-11 and Lawson nearby. Comfy room and the room size is quite big as compared with other Japan’s hotel. Clean and well equipped. Staff are very nice and greet you everytime when you go back or go out.

Good location! Few minutes walk from JR station, the staffs are friendly and helpful, able to store our luggage before check in.

It just beside the track, the staff nicely gave us the high floor room, however, still can hear the noise from trains passing through, so light sleeper need to consider this.
